Picture
Chemistry is the study of the nature, properties and composition of matter. Chemistry is a physical science that includes abstract concepts such as the structure of atoms, structure and properties of matter, and the conservation and interaction of energy and matter. Students will investigate chemistry concepts through experience in laboratories and field work using the processes of inquiry. The links below should help to get you started; however, please refer to the various subpages at the top of this website for a comprehensive list of all course materials, assignments, announcements and pictures. Students in Honors Chemistry may use Edmodo throughout the year to collaborate and communicate with each other. This course will be taught using the "flipped classroom model".  Click here to learn more.
