Welcome to Science with the Pedersens!

Welcome students and parents to our collaborative website. Mr. and Mrs. Pedersen are both teachers in the STEM certified Academy of Science, Research, and Medicine at Paulding County High School in Dallas, Georgia. During the 2019-2020 school year we will be teaching AP Biology, AP Physics, Honors Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and the entire Biotechnology pathway. Project Spotlight: Students in the Academy of Science, Research, and Medicine have been working with Kennesaw State University to build and deploy remote water monitoring stations. We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the Cohutta Chapter of Trout Unlimited to raise and monitor trout in our classroom during the 2019-2020 school year! The trout will be released in the Raccoon Creek watershed. Read more here.
